In this case report, we present a of 38-year-old woman with no cardiac history and risk factors who was admitted to the hospital spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) after pregnancy. Twelve years later, she suffered recurrent SCAD during her menopause. is rare occurrence acute syndromes recurrence even more rare. seems occur predominantly in females be related hormone levels. At first presentation, patient 38 old 4 weeks postpartum. She presented chest pain. Electrocardiogram (ECG) showed loss r-amplitude but ST-segment deviation. Troponins were elevated significant rise fall. treated dual anti-platelet strategy underwent angiography (CAG) which type 1 distal circumflex artery. The lesion conservatively. Second presentation 12 again pain time ECG marginal changes troponins elevated. CAG new (Type 2 B) second obtuse healed. Renal preformed an renal bead pattern typical for fibromuscular dysplasia. Again, This report suffering from different artery, both events probably hormonal changes, that is, postpartum may emphasize careful examination menopause patients earlier SCAD.

A32-year-old 15-day-postpartum G3P2 woman presented with sudden cardiac arrest due to an acute anterolateral wall myocardial infarction. An emergent coronary angiogram revealed a mild 30% distal left main tapering, severe diffuse compromise of the left anterior descending coronary artery (LAD) as well as the diagonal lumen, and normal left circumflex (LCx) and right coronary arteries. Three day...

Spontaneous coronary artery dissection is a rare cause of infarction in the general population, but a common cause of myocardial infarction during pregnancy, and even nowadays carries a high risk of mortality. We describe the case of a 31-year-old primigravida who presented during the 34th week of pregnancy with the chief complaint of chest pain and was found to suffer from myocardial infarctio...

Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is a deadly cause of myocardial infarction (MI) that mainly affects otherwise healthy, young females. Forty percent of patients die suddenly or within a few hours of symptom onset. We examine the case of a young female who presented with chest pain. She developed ST elevations in anterolateral leads mimicking ST elevation MI. Cardiac catheterization...
متن کامل[Spontaneous coronary artery dissection. An infrequent cause of acute coronary syndromes].
Spontaneous coronary artery dissection is a rare condition that may produce severe myocardial ischemia. The growth of indications for cardiac catheterization have led to an increment in the number of cases identified in patients with acute coronary syndromes. Because the therapeutic approach and prognosis are uncertain, doubts often arise regarding the optimal management of these patients. We d...

Spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD) is a non-traumatic and non-iatrogenic separation of the coronary artery wall that is now recognised as an important cause of myocardial infarction, especially in younger women. SCAD can be elusive on coronary angiography and clinician familiarity with non-pathognomonic angiographic SCAD variants and the use of intracoronary imaging will improve diag...
